Rabble Rant: Holding the Line Against Hate and Nazi Gate

Topic 1: Holding the Line Against Hate

On Wednesday September 20th thousands of people across Canada geared up for confrontation. The so-called 1 Million March for Children were targeting school board buildings with a clear anti-lgbtq agenda. Knowing this, community groups, social movements and labour teamed up to organize counter-protests to send an entirely different message.

Was it a victory for the Left? Who are the people behind the hate-filled actions? And what do they really want?

Topic 2: Nazi Gate

Liberals invited a known Nazi veteran to be recognized and applauded in the House of Commons this week. As shocking as it may seem, this isn't the only time Canada has honoured Nazis - we've got memorials scattered across the country and streets named after them.

What exactly happened? Was it even a mistake? What does it have to do with the additional $650 million being pledged to help arm Ukrainian forces?
