On ADHD
Our hosts get personal with their lived experiences with ADHD.
Its a very candid discussion on how ADHD impacts their lives, the accommodations that help them thrive and the politics behind preventing us from realizing more inclusive spaces for neurodivergent folks.
The episode was largely left uncut to better demonstrate some of the very characteristics people associate with ADHD, but also to challenge the misconceptions that are out there.

Hello fam, last week we posted up our 150th episode of Blueprints of Disruption. It was
Speaker:a good one by the way, it featured Bruno talking about tenant unions and their victories. But
Speaker:I've learned a lot from every single one of those recordings, and this one is no exception
Speaker:even though it is not our typical content. Santiago and I wanted to do a recording on ADHD and
Speaker:how it impacts us, the team creating the content that you keep supporting. To better paint the
Speaker:picture, we left in some very candid and personal moments, including our pre-recording banter
Speaker:back and forth, which is why in a moment, you're gonna just stumble right into a conversation
Speaker:about caffeine intake. We left these little moments in to help you better understand ADHD,
Speaker:specifically how it manifests in us.
Speaker:We left these little moments in not only because they help explain how ADHD manifests specifically
Speaker:in us, but it gets to-
Speaker:We left these little moments in to help the audience better understand ADHD, but also to
Speaker:get to know us a little bit better. We also want to be open and honest in saying that we
Speaker:were dropping this pre-recorded discussion at a time when both Santiago and I are struggling
Speaker:in ways that I think will make sense after you listen. Some may even recognize themselves
Speaker:in our stories. Others may gain perspective on how to better accommodate neurodivergence
Speaker:in their circles. Whatever your takeaway is.
Speaker:Whatever your takeaway is, be sure to share it with us. That being said, we jump right
Speaker:into our conversation on ADHD.
